Create Linux Install packages ( .deb , .rpm ) and include them in the officials Repositories

i consider this resolved, either with official repos or addon repos.

which ones are you referring too? it highly depends on the distribution and their packaging policy. squeeze ships with 1.0.2-2 (backported patches from 1.0.3) but sid includes already 1.2.1-1 - so it's more or less work-in-progress.
next to that, gentoo ebuilds, bsd ports and solaris pkg are in progress. -

rpm => rhel/centos => rpmforge
deb => debian => 1. squeeze or available on icinga.snow-crash.org repository for all flavors, even for *ubuntufor suse, this needs to be tested though with rpms.
